Where were you born? Charleston, SC
Tell us about your family. It's me and the girls. I have my beautiful wife Jackie and three precious little girls: Noa (toddler leader) and Ruthie (middle child AND 3 year old - says it all) and Lydia (our smiley newborn). They are a-mazing.
What were you doing before you came to work at JICC? I was in college. JICC is the only place I have worked during my "professional" career.
What do you like to do in your free time? See picture to the left. I sleep.
What is your favorite kind of food? Ohhh ... that's a tough one. Generally, anything Mediterranean is my favorite. Although I also like it when I find people to go to Indian buffets with me because Jackie hates curry.
What do you love most about working at JICC? I love being able to put my arm around someone in need. I love being able to communicate truth to people in a way they can understand. I love it when people fully realize God's love for them and the unique role they play in the body of Christ.
Describe your perfect vacation. Jackie and I sitting at a coffee shop in a big city surrounded by people who don't speak English... just watching them.
Describe your perfect day off in 10 words or less. Me and my babe with someone else watching the girls. (ten exactly! How about that?!)
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? It would be great to be a "gym person." You know, one of those people who just can't wait to get out of bed and work out for an hour. I just don't have the motivation, but I sure am impressed by those who do.
What is your favorite sports team and why? Hmmm ... bad question for me. I generally only like to watch sports when other people watch them -- and so I really have no loyalties. What I REALLY like is the Olympics. The whole world competing on one stage -- what is better than that? If someone wants to really bless me, they would send me to London in 2012 (hint, hint).
